UNESCO discussion on AI and its Impact on Society
The roundtable is organised by UNESCO at its headquarters. It is to raise awareness of the developments in ethical challenges relating to AI. It will be moderated by Professor Peter-Paul Verbeek, Professor of Philosophy of Twente University, Netherlands, a member of World Commission on the Ethics of Scientific Knowledge and Technology (COMEST).
They seek to bring together experts from different fields to discuss the impact of AI. They will look at the potential for AI to transform the future of humanity for the better, while also analysing the risks and challenges associated with AI. This will be an intercultural dialogue.
The event is open to the public.
